OUR APPROACH
We focus on understanding the why, why are you carrying this injury? Why is it always on your left side? Why haven’t you got a personal best for so long? Why is my neck always tight?
Once we untangle this, we can make a personalised and goal focused plan together for you to achieve your goals. I’m a believer in proactive healthcare and empowerment.
Understanding why focuses on long term results rehabbing you from injury/pains, rebuilding your body’s resilience and getting you the results you crave.

FAQ'S
-
Can I pay with my insurance?Yes, if you are insured with WPA, Aviva or Cigna, or if you have a pre pay plan that allows you to choose your provider.
-
Do you bill my insurer directly?Yes, If it's with WPA, Aviva or CIgna.
-
If I do an online session what do I need?A computer with a camera and a decent internet speed. Some space really helps - big enough to lie a yoga mat out is about the smallest size we can work with. Equipment, such as weights/ resistance bands etc are a bonus but not essential. Please wear something you can move in. If something crops up during the assessment that needs in person assessment such as an ultrasound scan or an internal pelvic floor examination for example we will make a management plan to get the best continuity of care possible. I've worked with people whilst they are at home, on holiday, travelling for work, at work or even at the gym.

How does Physiotherapy work?Physio aims to understand a given problem/injury (or multiple). Some questions about your health and lifestyle are crucial to tailor the management plan to you. A physical assessment then looks at what moves well, where your strength lies, how this fits with your function and where your gaps are for improving your body's physical needs and resilience. As part of my treatment I believe it's imperative to rehab the current injury and prevent the return of it too.

Do I need an injury to benefit from functional training? No, not at all. The aims of functional training are to build a better you. For some this is getting a PB on a marathon for others it's about getting to the start line. For some people it's about building muscle mass as they go through midlife and the changes that it brings. Some are keen to focus their sessions on injury prevention in relation to their sport/occupation. Ultimately the reason that you are doing this is what makes the sessions unique to you. It's goal driven, based on your current abilities and your targets.
